Dr. Gelwick from Texas A&M recently conducted a student project at the Nantucket Lake. The project was designed to give students “hands on” experience in determining the health of the lake. The attached pictures show there are indeed some fish in the lake. Latest report is the lake is healthy. Recommendations will be forthcoming on ideas to make the fishing and the lake better. All of Nantucket thanks Dr. Gelwick, her students, and Texas A&M, for a job “well done”. Hope all of the students get an “A”
